About Apex Logo

Apex is the Latin word for ‘peak’ or ‘tip’. Apex Catechetics and Apologetics seeks to offer the highest quality in peak Catholic content and curriculum.

The stylized monogram of chi (an Χ in the form of a hawk) and rho (the letter Ρ) are the first two letters of the Greek word, Christos. The chi rho is at the center of the logo just as Jesus Christ is at the center of our ministry.

The motto ‘The hawk takes flight by your wisdom Lord’ is inspired by the book of Job 39:26. The hawk, an apex predator, is a sign of God’s beauty, grace, wisdom, vision, ferocity and power.
